The New York Mets #1 job on WFAN just opened up as their radio voice is switching to the new Mets TV outlet

With Cohen moving to TV, WFAN's radio booth has an opening. Howie Rose will return. Candidates likely to join him include Ed Coleman, the veteran pre- and postgame host who has filled in admirably on play-by-play, Ted Robinson, who was MSG's Mets play-by-play man, and John Rooney, who spent 18 years as radio voice of the White Sox before becoming a free agent at the end of the season.

Well if Rooney had to leave then Flushing, home of my second favorite team The New York Mets, is the place I would want him to go!!!

Great News (that is if all talks with the Score are over)!!!

Lets go Mets, FAN!!!

They've been talking about it on the radio out here. The NY media seems to like Rooney, but Coleman is the obvious hometown favorite.
