I didn't see this on the board, but this is the greatest piece of Sox championship merchandise I have seen so far. They had it at the Jewel I was at this afternoon for $29.99. It has different players from this year's team on most of the locations as far as I can tell... couldn't afford it at the moment.

Maybe commemorating the 88 years we've waited for a championship?

But seriously, i'm gonna buy me one.

If you've found this for under $30, buy it fast. What this game cost retailers almost dictates we sell it for $35. It's $35 at USAopoly.com (where it's made) plus shipping. So, getting it for $35 at a store isn't all that bad.

Looks like a cool game, but I think I can wait until it costs less than 35 bones.

Correct me if I am mistaken, but is that Frank as Connecticut and Pauly as Boardwalk? All the Pitchers look like they are the Greens.

From what I can tell (going around the board, by group):

Ozzie Guillen, Cliff Politte
Timo Perez, Willie Harris, Frank Thomas
Geoff Blum, Juan Uribe, Joe Crede
AJ Pierzynski, Carl Everett, ??
Jermaine Dye, Tadahito Iguchi, Scott Podsednik
Dustin Hermanson, Bobby Jenks, Orlando Hernandez
Jose Contreras, Freddy Garcia, Jon Garland
Mark Buehrle, Paul Konerko

My guess on the unknown player from the orange group is Rowand.

I'll bet in 2 weeks, someone will come on here and complain about a broken game board.:)

LOL- Or the World Series celebration photo in the center of the board is glued on crookedly. What kind of cheap labor is making these games?!

Yesterday, I saw a White Sox World Series Edition Monopoly game editon at the Gamers Paradise in Stratford Square Mall. A glance at the bottom showd that, interestingly enough, Ozzie Guiilen is on Baltic Avenue (or Mediterranean, which ever is closest to GO) but Paul Konerko is on Boardwalk.

A world series ticket for only $75? I wish!
But seriously, i'm gonna buy me one.

I hear that :D: ... but from what I'm able to tell it looks like they kept the same prices for each corresponding square (Ozzie Guillen and Cliff Politte are $60... same as Mediterranean and Baltic Aves.; the bases and home plate $200 each, same as the railroads; etc), so following that logic they kept the $75 price for that square to correspond with the LUXURY TAX of the traditional game.
