We all know that the Sox went through the ALCS without using the bullpen. Has that ever happen before in ALCS history? I sort of doubt it.

That mighty Cotts pitched SEVEN exhaustive pitches in Game 1 of ALCS in relief of Jose Contreras. Shoota would make that relief appearance not count and give Jose a complete game...dont you think?

You're right, I forgot the ALCS was a five game series, I got so used to the Sox sweeping everybody out of the playoffs!!
