View Full Version : New/Upgrade season ticket holders - Where you at?

So what kind of seats/plan do you have for next season? Post it here!

This is for anyone who purchased season tickets for the first time (full, split or Ozzie) or upgraded their tickets from what they had last year. An upgrade can include jumping to a "better" plan (Ozzie to split or full, split to full), purchasing additional seats (i.e. 2 seats last season, 3 seats next season) or "upgrading" seats (upper deck to lower deck, bleachers to lower box, etc.) but keeping the same plan as last year.

I will be a first-time season ticket holder next season. Full-season plan, section 520, row 5, seats 1 and 2. I'm very excited!

note: This thread isn't meant to give a backhand to season ticket holders returning to the same plan but rather to get an idea of how many people are getting plans for the first time or "upgrading" plans based upon the recent Sox success (or any other reason).

Zach23 and I upgraded from the 27 game package to the full season package. We will now be sitting in Section 160 Row 9, I think seats 10 & 11. Just right for a lot of home run balls.

We upgraded to get the WS tickets. Plus, we ususally go to more games than we get in our package. This will make it easier now for extra tickets. We will not have to scramble to get a decent seat. We are set for a very long time now!

I don't see us EVER giving these seats up.

I went the economical route this year. Last year I had the Minny plan, plus bought several Monday or Tuesday night games as well. Every time I sat in Lower Box, but not Lower Premium Box.

This year, I went with Upper Premium Box, so I'm row six just down the 3rd base line from home plate. Pretty awesome seats and much less than Lower Box. I also upgraded to a full season ticket plan to get WS tickets this year. Hope I can get to as many of the games as possible and then find lots of Sox fans to go in my place when I can't make it.

Went from the 13 game package plus about 20 other games I bought along the way, to a full season. 113, row 24 was best available. I also bought 8 seats on the Hit and Run 27 game plan for my office, somewhere down the 1B line.

I reupped after taking last season off, instead opping for the overnight with my wife (no regreats, as it was a dream come true for both of us and the proceeds went to charity). This year, I'm back in 102 where I belong.

I went from the Ozzie plan to the Hit and Run (27) game plan. I'll be in 151, row 1. Whenever my credit card raises my limit or I become independently wealthy (whichever comes first, put your money on the credit card route), I will probably upgrade to the full plan.

Went from buying tickets on a whim to th 27-game Double Play plan.
Sec 157, Row 11, Seats 15-16.

When I get to a point where I could actually make most of the games, I may upgrade to FS package. However, this is one small step that my finances and work schedule currently allow.

Planning on moving from the 9-game to the 27, but haven't had any luck getting through to the ticket office to make it happen. Hoping to do so before we get relegated to the UD.

When did you get those? When I called no Premium Box seats were available. I was assigned Sec 522 Row 6 for the WS promo and then was able to switch to Sec 526 Row 9 which is between Home and First.

I went from buying tix at the last second (about 5 per year) to a split season package (weekends). I will be in section 103, row 7.

My brother and I had the starting nine package in 2004, the Ozzie plan this year (although I ended up going to 27 games and he went to 46). For next year, we're going with the split weekend plan, section 110, row 13 -- and our dad's decided to join us. We were seriously considering full season tickets, but need to find some partners. Several of our cousins expressed an interest, but when it came time to commit they weren't sure they could do it. Maybe in 2007.

First time buying a package...got 27 Game Double Play Plan...Sec 163, Row 5, Seats 1 & 2. The Wife wants to stare at Rowands Butt...good seats for her I guess.

I am a new season-ticket holder thanks to my WS tix offer being processed. My two seats are lower reserved but unfortunately I don't know the location. When I signed my contract the ticket rep told me to call back after the WS to find out the location but none of my emails have been returned.

So frustrating because I am really anxious to find out where I'll be watching our World Champs next season!

Does anyone know of a reliable ticket rep I could try to contact? Thanks!

Full Season for many years and many years to come. The thing about lightning strikes is you never know when.. and I love my seats!
Occasionally eat a game or two, but with the new season ticket reselling website, even if I have to lose a little (or make), eating tickets is a thing of the past!

27 Game "Double Play" plan...1st plan since 1987 (not sure what I was thinking that year :?: )....right field corner, lower deck, 15th row.

Long debate over LF or RF....we went with RF for proximity to the Bullpen Sports bar. :gulp:
