What do you think. It just dawned on me that the team who won the most games in the American League and swept the World Series, stands a real good chance for zero post season awards for players.

I guess we just got lucky, 110 TIMES !!

Rowand CF Gold Glove!!!

Tori Hunter was out half the year and the Twins didn't do anything.

Ozzie AL manager of the year.

This surprises you how?

Let them keep their little individual awards...our team, the Chicago White Sox has won the World Series!

If Hunter got Gold Glove, maybe Frank will be DH of the year!
BTW Ozzie isn't a player.

I'd like to see Iguchi win Rookie of the year, but it'll probably go to Swisher in Oakland

Did you mean Street? Cuz Swisher has no chance. Houston Street - I wouldn't argue with at all. Iguchi would be fine also. But Swisher - uh - no. .236/.322/.446 with 21 HRs is not ROY material.

Very true. Think of it this way: In 1983, we had the Rookie of the Year (Ron Kittle), the Cy Young (LaMarr Hoyt), and maybe even other awards (Manager of the Year, maybe?), and what did that get us? Did we win the World Series in 1983?

Expect Manager of the Year for Ozzie and Executive of the year for KW.

Manager of the Year is a post season award that will come out soon.

I think Joe Crede has opened some eyes for next year's Gold Glove. Don't bet on FRod for next year.

I would think it would be between Gooch and Robinson Cano. Street could win it, though as well. Some very good rookies out there this year...

I don't think we deserved any individual player awards. Ozzie will be manager of the year, and. we should be a top candidate for team of the year, when the ESPY's are given out.
