I was there as well, the chants of OZZIE..OZZIE were rediculous. He has acheived rockstar status in chicago. The game itself was horrible until the 4th quarter when they had a solid comeback, but I wouldnt compare them to the Sox. Only b/c they didnt play a good game at all for 3 quarters.

Ozzie is becoming what Ditka was following the 1985 NFL season. He has rock star status now. I believe the saying is "he's never gonna have to pay for another meal in this town again". That was awesome seeing him and Freddy at the Bulls game too.
(I saw the beginning of the game, but was busy around the house. I saw they had a big deficit though most of the game, but I missed the big comeback and all but the last 30 seconds of the OT.:(: )

So, how long before we are sitting down to watch the Sox at Ozzie's Venezuelan Steakhouse? That's the Chicago way, win a championship, open a restaurant.

Ditka's 20 year reign is now over. Ozzie rules the town now.

I loved seeing Ozzie, it was the highlight of the game for me considering me and my party left two minutes into the fourth quarter with the Bulls down 25.

My Bro met him at Hooters on Grand last week, said he was pretty cool. Told some wild stories about Ric Flair.

Also, anyone see the charm on Ozzies chain? It looked to me like it was an Italian horn. I saw it and went crazy, because I have one, as most Italians do. Anyone know why he would have one? Is it like a Venezuelan thing or what?

According to Tom Dorn (Bulls PBP man, also a Sox fan) Freddie was sitting in the same suite as Ozzie during the game

I like to see that these guys are becoming bigger celebs here and it is noticed when they go to events like Bulls/Hawks games around town. Hopefully it lasts more than just a week or two. I remember seeing on Sportscenter when TO was sitting behind the Phillies plate for a game earlier this season with some other Eagles players. I doubt Ozzie at a Bulls game last year would've been reported at all. Next we just need to see Rowand rooting on the Bears when they play the Packers.

Rowand has been to numerous Bears-Packers games. I know he is going to enjoy his ability to to easily score Bears tickets.
