Congrats Carlos... It's a trade that worked out for everyone! Many other first timers!

Rock on El Caballo! I loved you when you were here, and it looks like Milwaukee will be a winning team soon. A perfect trade for all involved. Champagne for all my friends!

This really has been one of the "best for all parties" trades I can remember recently.

Oh god. It's only a matter of time before Hangar starts another thread bashing Dye and KW.

If the SOX weren't so cheap
they would have been able to have a silver
slugger in LEE in the outfield.
Instead, they signed Jermaine Dye who is
horrible. LEE was clutch, but Jermaine couldn't
get a hit to save his life. The Sox will NOT win
the World Series next year as long as DYE is on
the team. JR needs to spend money and get
another REAL clutch outfielder.

Hangar, before you say anything...
HOW MANY WORLD SERIES MVP'S DID LEE WIN?

Thank you.

I still remember the game at Wrigley when he hit two home runs including a grand slam like it was yesterday.

No doubt. I can't think of a recent trade where both teams had so much to be pleased about.

Like others, I want to congratulate Carlos on his award. The trade worked out for both teams. I hope he has continued success in Milwaukee, especially against the Flubs (not against the Sox though). Hopefully that is the first of many more silver sluggers for him and World Series trophies for us :D:

Never thought that I would say that I have not one ounce of regret seeing CLee securing postseason honors. He was a fav of mine but the payoff on this trade is undeniable. I was wrong to bust on KW for this trade- I admit it.

Somewhere out there, Hangar is telling himself "I told me so."
