My buddy's girlfriend pointed out that the White Sox have become the only team to win two World Series' games in one day.
Stat hounds, is this true?
How cool is that?

Which game was Jeter's homer after midnight back in 2001?

Jeter's homer was Game 4, and the Yankees did win Game 5 the next day, but I don't think Game 4 went past midnight, Game 5 was the one that took forever.

I thought I read where the '82 series either the Cards or Brewers won 2 games on the same day. Anyone know if this is true?

I'm pretty sure it did (at least East Coast) hence the crappy "Mr. November" nickname for Jeter.

When did Game 4 officially end? I remember it was pretty much midnight ET.
Then again, that would be another example of Eastern bias.

Since Game 4 lasted 3:31, it would have had to start past 8:29 EST to go past midnight.

Our game 4 started about that time (or later) with the whole Latin All Star team thing going on first.
