I took the song out of RM format and made the WAV and MP3 (the latter so I could put it on my phone).

If anyone's interested here are links to all three formats of the song.

If you want to splice the MP3 down to make a ringtone, Audacity is free and very easy to use for this purpose.

http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

Just though I would share in case anyone else was interested.

EDIT:
I hosted a clip (7s - 25s) for WAP phones since there appears to be some problems ring tone wise.

If anyone wants a different section of the song, let me know.

EDIT: Links are UP. Thank god for journaled file systems :gulp:

Thanks!

By the way, does anyone know who sings the version of Sweet Home Chicago that is played at Sox Park after games? If it's available on iTunes or something I'd like to buy it to add to a "Sox" CD, but I couldn't find the version played at the park.

How do you download the song to put it on the phone if the above is just a link of the song? I downloaded audacity, but I am not sure how to DOWNLOAD the MP3 song and then convert it so I can put it on my phone.

I was able to download it as a mp3 file and put it on my hard drive and I was playing it via audacity, but I am not sure how to set it up as a ring tone for my phone. Any help would be great!

As Soxzilla stated, The Blues Brothers Official Movie Soundtrack has the Sox version (and best version) of the song.

If your phone supports mp3 ringtones then just splice it and transfer to the phone via a datacable.

I made a ringtone from "Let's Go Go Go White Sox......Root root root Whiiiite Sox".

If you don't have a data cable but have a WAP enabled phone just point the browser to

http://www.krohnjw.com/WhiteSox/WhiteSoxRing.mp3

Save the file and make it your ringtone.

Otherwise you will have to convert it to a format that the phone supports (midi, etc) and transfer it.

If anyone wants me to chop out a specific section and host it, let me know.

Thanks. Unfortunately, I didn't find it available on any downloadable music services such as iTunes. But, it's good to know which CD I would need to add this to my collection.

Hey guys I want to get Na Na Na Na Hey Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye in an Mp3 format and I know there is one in the fight song page but that one won't let me put it in my iTunes to put it on my iPod. If anyone could get it and post a link to it on here it would be greatly appreciated.
