Wednesday October 25, 2005 was the first day I can remember ever actually crying for joy. The Chicago White Sox had just won the 4th and final game of the World Series. I sat in the edge of my bed stunned and thinking I can't believe that they are playing in the WS let alone winning it. As I fell asleep early Thursday morning I remeber my wife commenting about the grin on my face. I woke up Thursday morning and ran into the computer room to check mlb.com just to be sure it wasn't a dream. On Friday morning I did the exact same thing. Every day, no matter what else happens, I will have at least a little joy in my heart because of what happened late Wednesday night. I just wish I was in Chicago today for the parade. Hopefully espn will have highlights of it this afternoon.
