I thought they would start off hot and never look back.

Man what a year I upped my attendance to 6 games, 4 and 2 record with two games in the finale homestand and look to increase my attendance next year.

I put $200 on the Sox to win it all in Vegas back in March. It was the first time I ever did that. I just had a feeling. The odds were 20-1 back then.

I predicted that we would play and beat the Dodgers. Can't win 'em all. :gulp:

I remember thinking that this team was going to give Minnesota a good run for the division...boy, was I thinking small. By June I was thinking -- only to myself, in a quiet way that I would never have expressed aloud -- that this team had the stuff to go all the way. AJ's walkoff homer against the Dodgers was what really convinced me.

Congrats on the payday!! I got them at 20-1 in March as well, but it was to win the AL...

I remember looking at the line up and thinking "who the hell are these guys?!" and "No Carlos lee for some guy who hit 12 homers with the Brewers last season? Washed up Yankees?!. Great." Then I read about where Kenny and Ozzie were going with this team, and the Ozzie-ball intrigued me...

95 wins and a first round exit.

It's nice to be wrong. :D:

Same prediction as always for the past 15 years: White Sox winning the World Series.

Though, in truth and honesty, I had them beating either the Phillies or Dodgers.

That's what I was thinking but some time befor they came out to Colorado, I started to think that they would have quite a run this year. I had recently found WSI and I was starting to get optimistic. It wasn't till after the All Star break I started to dream.

I never do predictions because I'm a nutcase and I don't want to jinx the team. But if I did, I would have said Sox in 4.

A season is like this is why I don't make prediction, at least specific ones.

I didn't think we had it in us. I'm a pretty optimistic guy and thought we'd blow. We sure did, blew right past everyone thru the post season.

Happily I didn't...:D:

I do admit, I was being a bit tongue in cheek with the World Series Champions prediction. I just normally predict that because I refuse to predict losses. I was a bit off in my win total and of Course Frank got hurt, but I did predict Pods to lead the team in stolen bases, so I got that going for me...

Here (http://www.whitesoxinteractive.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=46940)'s a link to the whole thread for people to enjoy...

I was pretty down on the team, I didn't think Garland and Contreras would be that good, and that starting pitching would be a problem. (Could I have been more wrong? I was only going off their track records, I'm not much of a prognosticator.)

However, I was very high on the aquisitions of Orlando Hernandez, Dunstin Hermanson, AJ Pierzynski, and espcially Dye and Iguchi. Overall I said a competitive team that would win about 86, same crap as last few years.

glad I was so wrong, starting pitching, by far the #1 reason for the championship, was sooo much better than I expected.

Before Spring Training started, I predicted the Angels over the Cards in six. Happy to be wrong, that's for sure! :moonwalk:

I just said if the Sox can do a better job against Detroit (I think those losses against Detroit last year killed us) & Oakland (freakin' A's), you can tack up 90+ wins and the division title.

I never speculated on a playoff route.

But they did kick Detroit's ass.:bandance:

I think I said "about 91-93 wins which may or may not be enough to win the Central."

Happily wrong.
