I hear that Mr. Boyer reads on here from time to time so I would like to propose an idea to him for this years soxfest. For the opening ceremonies, if it is possible, move them to a much larger room or area in the hotel. So many fans get stuck outside waiting and I am sure this year everyone will want to get a glimpse of the Trophy and the players at opening ceremonies. I hope there is some way that this can be done and avoid having the majority of sox fans stuck outside in line while these ceremonies are going on.

Where else would they have it at the Hyatt though? The ballroom down there seems to be the biggest room they have.

All I know is that I am GLAD I will be flying in on Thursday and getting to the hotel EARLY on friday (they have usually allowed us early check in in years prior)

if thats the biggest room they have, then knock a few walls out, but in the past, i am remembering large curtains that maybe connect to other rooms.

I hear that I was planning on getting tickets around Christmas time again when I have a little disposable cash... guess not

I think that would be fantastic but I'm not sure if they have some kind of contractual obligation to the Hyatt for a certain amount of years.

That's the one bad thing about buying the hotel package. You don't get the passes until you check-in.

I had an extra pass for all three days last year and was able to sell only one of them. The only reason for that was because it was a fellow WSI member that I was able to meet up with in the bar on Friday night.

I gave one away to a couple that was standing near the ticket counter and the other one I ended up throwing away. For the most part, everyone that is there already has a pass. :(:

I am having similar feelings...

In the past I have gotten tickets literally 3 days before the event. Hopefully I can work something out this year.

I could only suggest that you go and hope somebody has extras.

I'm sure there are many people that book the 2-night package that don't actually need all 4 passes.

And $10 for shipping! Yikes!

I checked my records; I ordered mine last year on Jan. 3 (according to the confirmation email). This year (well, 2006 actually) I think I just made the deadline apparently.
