When did Scotty get his face bashed in? Looks like Yankee stadium? :?:

It was Yankee Stadium. I was at that game, where Rowand's defense had everyone in NY talking. I had my Sox gear on, and people were like, "Who IS that guy?" Yankee fans are passionate, but know very little about other teams and players. I don't even think that they like baseball, really.

They were probably still mad because they felt Scotty stole the All-Star nomination from Jeter. Seriously! I had a whole bunch of tool Yankee fans arguing with me about it when they were here in August.

It is sort of a "trick" photo. If you look at the frames before and after, you can see the guy is reaching for the ball and just did a bad job. He just grazed Pods.

I was also at that game. In defense of NYY fans, many of the fans in the right field bleechers were standing up and cheering Rowand after the second of his amazing catches . . . giving props to the D, despite him being on the opposing team. I thought that was class.

I thought that was class.I was at that game, too. Pods got a nice cheer for his catch, as did every good play the Sox made. I was in the right field bleachers though, and there are some hilarious hecklers out there. Grown men yelling out:

"Hey Dye... your mother never loved you!"

Even JD was shaking his head with a smile after a while...
