The toughest division in baseball. Ozzie credited facing the tough pitching staffs from the central as key to their playoff success

Yep!

My buddy (an Indians fan) e-mailed to congratulate me and he said that he was mightily impressed with this team.

We're also the first "Central" team to win since realignment. The Cardinals were the first central team to make the world series, but we're the first to win!:bandance:

So much for the so called "weakest division".

Def the toughest AL Division, 2nd toughest overal...although I might suggest that if it weren't for the weakness of the NL West and Central perhaps the NL East wouldn't look so good.

Twins and Cleveland are very good ball clubs.

Gammons said that the AL Central was 8 games better than the AL East this year. The AL Central definitely had better starting pitching.

Yeah, they're the first AL Central team to win it, and the second to get to it.
