from ESPN 1000. (http://home.comcast.net/%7Ekuensherman28/whitesox.mp3) Kind of long. After hearing it a bit, I decided to record the webstream b/c the delay allowed to get it from the beginning.
Complete with a swashbuckling background music.

Its not a stream... right-click on that link up there and "Save target as".
Its just a pure MP3 file.

Thats awesome, but it makes me sad that its all history now.
What a season!!!!!
Go Sox!!!!
A great summary of the season, and why Rooney was the best. Was this broadcast on the ESPN1000 coverage, or was it posted on MLB.com? i don't recall hearing it on the radio. Thx!

ESPN on the night when we won it all. Broadcasted 4:30 AM. They should replay this gem at a better time.

THAT is awsome.
Lots of "It's a goner - and a White Sox winner" in the clip.
One sad note - the contrast between Rooney and Farmer is just as awesome.

Man I'm going to miss Rooney.
But give Farmer credit. I think his calls in the playoffs were the best play by play work he's ever done.
Man this highlight reel is awesome. What a year we had.

Farmer is fine for a middle-innings number 2 guy.
Rooney is just one of the best, and I hate the Sox to lose top talent, even in the botth.

I am planning on doing a slideshow montage of this audio, but it is a very big task. First off you have to figure out which calls go with which game. Any help is appreciated in deciphering which calls go with the corresponding games. I am 1 min. and 25 seconds through the audio.
Any help with pics or video is apprciated! PM me to help out.
