Kass has, I think, the best--or at least my favorite--line for today.

And what about the Daily Southtown? They don't have a championship headline online yet. Is their entire staff in Houston??? :D: :D: :D:

Ladies and gentlemen, YOUR WORLD CHAMPION CHICAGO WHITE SOX!!!

Daily Southtown has some great local fan coverage:

Here's an excerpt:

The regulars at Teehan's Irish Pub in Tinley Park were back for the winning game, but the back room looked more like a hospital ward than a bar.

"My heart is literally going to jump out of my chest," said Michael Casey, first giddy and jumping up and down; seconds later, doubled over and out of breath.

With the final out, there were tears, screams and hugs all around, as well as a beer shower.

"This is probably the best day of my life the only thing that would have made this better is if my dad was here with me," Casey said.

"I gotta call my dad; he's been waiting for this his whole life," said Tim Bartz, 26, of Tinley Park. After talking to his father, Bartz said: "He's crying, I've never heard him that way."

And there's even a nod for those of us who can't be with you physically today but who are there in spirit:

At Bud's Sports Bar, fans sounded their horns mightily throughout the parking lot. "It's the greatest moment in history, not only for Chicago fans, but also for Chicago fans across the country and across the world," said Andrew Zaghlul, who watched the game with his brother Sol.

Ladies and gentlemen, YOUR World Champion CHICAGO WHITE SOX!!!
