I may get tarred and feathered for this one. I'm not saying I'm rooting for Houston but is anyone hoping we get to see one more game???

Maybe I'd put it this way: I really want to win and celebrate. I also don't want the season to end yet, because I'm having a blast right now.

if we didn't pull one out last night, then maybe...as much as i want to see them take care of it at home, i don't want them coming back after losing 2 straight

LMAO!! Here's to Michelle getting her wish tonight. There should also be a lot fewer dark clouds around for FWC to chastise after the big W tonight.

I'm secretly rooting for this season to be over as quickly as possible.

The quicker the better, the greater the degree of victory.

Simple really.

My wife is saying the same thing; I'm AWOL from April-October every year, win or lose.

I'm needed at home. From a beer business perspective, which is what I'm in, a seven game series is best. I'll take the sweep.

Sounds like someone had tickets to Game 6...

TOO BAD!

Agreed.
Oh, c'mon. I plan on printing this thread out and using it for toilet paper, but there were many worse threads.
Among my favorite was there hijak by the racist FOBB who listed "Kenny is black, Billy Beane is white" as one of the reasons Beane was the better GM. He then created a second user name and said "yeah, he is right. KW sucks"

HAHA, that thread was PURE excriment. This one just sucks.

No. There was no way I wanted the Astros to get the idea that they might still have a prayer of a whisper of a rumor of a chance.

However, I'm now feeling like I want to see the Sox beat up on somebody else. I say they go challenge the Chiba Lotte Marines and keep it rolling.:D:

Man, if only we could see another game tomorrow. This just isn't good enough.

I love this baseball season. I have never so badly wanted anything I've loved so much to end.

The rest of 2005 is about celebrating a special team.

Thanks guys, from three time zones away.

Precisely, and against three damn good teams as well, nice, couldn't be sweeter, even if it happened in a molasses factory

East, when you get right down to it, I think we are all in the beer business!
