Someone forgot to tell the Astro's to turn their caps back to the right way and the rally cap did not work.

Seriously, what was with that crowd? Soooooo many annoyances...the women dressed as bees, the woman on the phone, the general yuppyness of it all...ug, it was like anaheim all over again

The whole Houston WS crowd deserves a big  .

They do know umpires are allowed to call strikes on their players, right? And they must know that the reason their starters don't throw 81 pitch complete games is that sometimes their pitches end up outside the strike zone.

all the people behind home plate kept raising their arms and yelling whenever a pitch was against the astros, it was getting annoying watching them after every pitch by oswalt.

If I was Biggio or Bagwell and the team I played for made bumble-bee noises when I came up to bat in the World Series I'd be pretty embarassed.

That lady on the phone seemed very concerned. I'm not sure if it was because of the game or because of the conversation she was having. Either way, just looking at her stressed me out.

How many minutes....

....could Fox have spent providing solid analysis of a freaking World Series game that was going on in front of her?

Anyone have a pic of this lady... perferably when she was freaking out in the 14th inning. Almost as good as the female Cubs fan crying after the Cubs blew their lead in the '93 NLCS. Almost.

And what exactly does it add for Fox to show ugly people in the crowd between every freaking pitch????

Who was the attractive Sox fan? Was that Pods fiancee? Or just some cutie?

There should be a rule that if a team is up 3-0 the fourth game is announced by their home announcers. How could they have overlooked such an obvious parameter. Selig, make it happen!

I thought the crowd overall was very average noise-wise. Of course, I was at a bar so i couldnt hear it very well but the crowd didnt really seem to excited. Joe Buck, I think it was him, even said the crown was really quiet at one point.

at the end (blonde) standing near the dugout
burnette shown somewhere in the 11-14 inning standing alone with black sweatshirt

I heard on ESPNRadio thats Pods girl is a model or something

Now, if you find Jeff Bagwell's ex-wife's site, THAT is NSFW.

Battery? She wasn't talking to anyone. She just wanted to look cool. She saw it on WGN and wanted to be JUST LIKE THE FANS AT WRIGLEY.
The FOX broadcast team (and for once I won't slam McCarver individually) are complete idiots for showing her any more than one time. Makes me wonder why they kept doing it.
I'm gonna have fun banana farming at Skip's tonight....only one left! :supernana:

She was probably the most animated fan they could find in those late extra innings. At first, I thought it was a babysitter "you're getting double pay" call, but after the third shot of her, I thought the producer just found her the most interesting. Don't forget, the FOX people were getting weary as well. Not defending them, mind you, just speculation.

Bizarre people. They boo like crazy if an Astros pitcher bounces one in the 4th inning and the ump has the temerity to call it a "ball," but they're dead silent with Astros on base in extra innings.
