HI!

Any Sox fans in the Triangle area (RTP) of NC? Would love together to watch Game 4 of the series, say at Chammps in Southpoint or Carolina Ale House off 15/501 in Durham. Please response ASAP! :D:

I am in Winston Salem. I will be off work and in W-S around 7pm, would be cutting it pretty close to make it out there but it would be nice to watch a game somewhere other than my livingroom

Hey you guys - thanks for replying. It's a long drive from Winston, I know, but if you're up for it, lemme know.

Go-Go Sox!

I'm a student here in Chapel Hill. I'm guessing those places are bars so I wouldn't be able to go. Plus I don't have a car.

Actually they're restuarants. They also do serve alcohol for those who want that. Sorry you don't have a car... Would be nice to watch the game with another Sox fan! Go Tarheels!

I go to State graduate school and have class from 6-8:50. It'd be possible for me to be at or around the Durham/Southpoint area by 9:15. HawkDJ you and Ms. Gavin should take the TTA bus from the SRC. I could drive back?

Sorry, I'm in New Bern and working tonight at the Chili's in Jacksonville. Game will definitely be on, so if anyone in ENC wants to pop on by, be sure to ask for the manager (Jim) and introduce yourself.

Hula & krohnjw

HawkDJ, myself, and my gf are willing to meet up in the Durham/Southpoint area. As it turns out, my teacher is letting us out at 7:30 to do some "group work", so maybe I can sneak out earlier than planned. Anyway, the more the merrier, else the three of us might as well stay in CH. Respond quickly if you think you can work this out.

Not being from NC (or living near RD) where is this place?

The *earliest* I could get there would be right around 8:20-8:30ish (assuming I get out of work on time) on the west side or RD. Let me know where it's at roughly and I will mapquest it.

Hey you guys! Sounds like we got a group together! I'm going to run over to the Carolina Ale House and check it out (http://www.carolinaalehouse.com/), but it's off I40 and 15/501 (turn left if you're coming from Greensboro or right if you're coming from Raleigh). It's right by the Target and Sam's. Chammps is of I40 at Fayetteville Rd. Let me get back to you in a bit as to which would be the better location.

Gavin

I'll opt for the Ale-House, if only because it's easier for krohn.

I just talked with someone at Carolina Ale House and it sounds like the best place to go! They're open till 2AM and would let people stay till 2:30, although let's not have a repeat of last night!

I'm gonna get there around 7:30. They said they have some non-smoking tables by the big screen, but the bar is right behind it and there's definitely smoking there (I'm a non-smoker). Anyway, I promise to get The best place to sit possible. I'll be wearing a #11 Sox t-shirt and visor.

My partner will meet us there later, so it sounds like there'll be at least a half dozen of us. Looking forward to meeting you all!

In the meanwhile I'm going to figure out how to make HawkDJ of age...

Even though i'm back in Chicago, i was in RTP the week we didn't even have to play after we thrashed the Angels. I was at Champs that Monday, have been to the Ale House, and am getting excited thinking about Sox fans in RTP getting together to cheer!!!

I used to live right by the Ale House but afraid I've moved away. This January, I may be thinking about reversing that migration.

Usually that's not a big problem, that thing goes on all the time on my dads jeep. By the way, you don't want to meet hawkdj, trust me.

Sorry guys, I just got home (8pm in Winston Salem). I got hung up at work again working with SBC

Looks like it will be another game stuck here in the WSI chat yelling at the TV :o:

Let's just hope for a winner!

It's the chat for me too. Most people in Charlotte are more concerned about UNC-Miami this weekend. Or whatever NASCAR race is coming up.

Sigh, I understand that all too well unfortunately. I work for Lowes at the office in Wilkesboro, everyone loves racing.
