I don't know if this has been posted yet or not, but I found this on the cubs board...I thought the exchange was pretty funny

the thread was on real celebrity fans, the guys who stick by their team thick and thin

I found this on a cubs board and thought it was pretty hilarious

True celebrity fans:
Red Sox - Stephen King
Yankees - Billy Crystal
Cubs - Bill Murray
Lakers - Jack Nicholson
Knicks - Spike Lee
Two more worth throwing out there:
Frankie Muniz: LA Clippers
Billy Crystal: LA Clippers
Anyone who doesn't find it embarrasing to call themselves a fan of the Clippers is a true fan.
John Cusack lives and dies with the Cubs. He goes to many games each year, and he usually refuses preferencial treatment. He likes to sit in the bleachers, or anywhere he can be with the fans.

Consider the flipside:

For every Sox fan who couldn't give a **** about which b-list celebrity is posing for the cameras wearing a Sox hat, there are 10 Cubbie fans who are dying on the inside everytime a traitor like Cusack or Bernie Mac dons the hated black.

Nah, that can't be right. Cub fans don't care for any of this. I just can't picture them kneeling in front of their TVs night after tormented night, willing the Stros to win. It's just not their way...
