My fiance, Jennifer, and I. And no, we are not THAT bloated....lol. Wearing 5 shirts will make you look like a sausage.

Upper Deck Concourse pre-game.

This would be the best possible thing you can eat at Sox Park. Polish with grilled onions...a southside tradition, and can be sniffed out all across the park.

Three stooges. My Dad, me, and my Uncle. Dad was 9 years old when the Sox last appeared in the World Series. My Uncle was 12. Very emotional moment for us together.

Houston Astros taking batting practice.

Frank Thomas (arm raised), allowed to suit up, and got a nice standing ovation.

AJ Pierzynski announced (this one was for Brett).

The National Anthem. Seeing this beautiful site, along with the way Josh Groban sang, gave me a huge lump in my throat. There were many in attendance getting choked up. What a great ****ing country we live in, and if you didn't feel this, then you have no pulse.

Luis "Little Looie" Aparicio, starting SS for the 1959 team, throws out the first pitch.

Jose Contreras' first pitch to Biggio, taken for strike 1.

Bobby Jenks final pitch, resulting in a swing and miss.

Where were you sitting? This looks just like the view from my seats. Sec. 516, row 19. I was shocked how good the view was from up there. Your pix are a lot better than mine. Nice job.

I'd be glad to submit them, but I didn't see where. I'll look again.

I shot those pics with a Canon Power Shot G5. 5.0 Megapixel.

I do want to get a bigger lense though so I can zoom in better.

AT... I got a little bit taken aback when the flag came out and Josh was singing.. but seeing the team out there down the 3rd base line... that's what got me. I don't even remember hearing the anthem.

Great picks though. I'll post them when I do.

Awesome pix. The exploding scoreboard is one of the most beautiful sights in all of sport.
