I'm thinking about getting the various White Sox songs together and making a CD for me and some Sox fans I know. Here is the track list so far:
1. Thunderstruck---AcDc
2. Go Go White Sox ----Capt. Stubby
3. Go Sox!----Pell Mell
4. Na Na Hey Hey Goodbye----Steam
5. Don't Stop Believin---------Journey
6. Sweet Home Chicago------Blues Brothers
7. Na Na Hey Hey Goodbye---------Nancy Faust

I'm also thinking about inlcuding those parody songs XRT did. Does anyone know where I can get some sound bytes from Hawk or Rooney?

I would have to include Bonnie Tyler's Holding Out For A Hero. How could you not after it was played before the bottom of the ninth tonight.

Also, the Dream Police by Cheap Trick for Cliff.

So is that the double disc?

Hot tracks--I don't think South Side Irish has been mentioned yet--various artists, but it made my playlist

All the Nancy Faust songs are just clips, so everything fits on one disc.

Don't forget "Run Sox Run" by Dennis Deyoung if you can find it.

I don't think that was ever available commercially. I think DeYoung reworked a song from one of his solo LPs called "Southbound Ryan" into "Run Sox Run" for team use only.

Does anyone else here remember that song from 1993 called "Ready To Rock"? They sold cassette singles at the ballpark that year and it went something like: "we're ready to rock, we're ready to roll; Chicago White Sox are going for gold..."

Southbound Ryan is a cheesy song, but its all about chicago, so I like it
