The radar doesn't look too pretty. What's the word on the game from those close to the situation? How long will they wait? I suspect Fox doesn't want to go up against MNF tomorrow if at all possible.

Go Sox

Bigger question is, what will the Astros do if it gets postponed until tomorrow? Do they go with Oswalt in Game Two instead of Game Three? Or do they stay with Pettitte and throw Oswalt in the first home game regardless?

The rain has been falling steadily since the middle of the 1st quarter of the Bears-Ravens game. :(:

More of a drizzle than a rain. This game will get in tonight.

I saw one forecaster say it will rain on and off throughout the night into the early morning but that they should definitely be able to get the game in.

I put it on the FOX NFL postgame and they had a live update from a guy at the Cell. It looked to be raining kind of hard, similar to the Bears game, but he said the umpires said that they can play through it, and the Sox game will start as planned

Hopefully the rain doesn't affect Buehrle's pitching....let's go Sox!! :bandance:

I just hope they keep Mark away from the tarp.

With the Astros' long reliever Rodriguez having pitched 3+ last night, I feel like the rain favors the White Sox, as either Politte or El Duque can go 2 IP in the middle innings if necessary.

Sox need to put some bunts down. Wet ball could make for some interesting throws. Let's use the weather to our advantage.
