His signal to the pen for Jenks was classic! "Gimme the tall, wide guy." No wonder these guys are playing confident and loose!

and speaking of the tall, wide guy, anyone come close to believing he's anywhere near the listed 270#? ... he's a bisquit from 310 if you ask me.

It's possible but I couldn't care less as long as he comes in and gets the job done!

No, I believe it. He is a "big 'ol hoss", but I dont think he is more than 270. I mean, some fat football players are still only 300lbs, and that is with much more muscle. Some people carry weight differently. For instance, if a guy who normally weighs 150 gets up to 300, he would look a lot bigger than someone who normally weighs 210 getting that big.

The crowd exploded when he did this. It was hilarious.

I like how they also put Ozzie doing that in the video from when Jenks comes in from the pen. What a game last night...

I think 270 is right. I think he'd be a lot more plump in the face if he was 310.

I absolutely believe that Oz knows exactly what he's doing & how to keep the guys loose.
I think he did that for the players to have a laugh and, nothing gets you loose like a good laugh.

Oz is really highly intelligent and cool.

Ozzie does that so it's not to confuse Jenks with another right-hander. I like that.

Jenks is a whole lot closer to 270 than David Wells is to the 250 he's listed at....

I saw him do the "call" for Jenks in Detroit and IIRC it was the first time Ozzie made that "move". Was that the first time this season or does anyone remember a time prior to that? Would like to think I saw TWO historical moments that game - The AL Central Clincher and the first time the "Jenks sign" was used.

One Small Gesture, One Giant Reliever for White Sox Army!

I was in Detroit when he did that, and my immediate thought was "that's the first time he's ever done that." I'm pretty sure there have been only two occassions now: Detroit and last night.

He's done it every time he called for Jenks since about mid-September. They played the accompanying video of it on the Diamond Vision during the ALDS.

Finally.

Have you guys not been watching the games previous to the playoffs???

Ozzie's unique call to the pen for Jenks isn't new.
