With game one under our belts, it's seems that this guy's right on so far.

So I guess there's no need to play the rest of the series.

I bet the boys at Baseball Prospectus were happy about this.

I don't mind their "predictions" for game two...

Paul Konerko hit a two-run shot off Andy Pettitte in the first and a grand slam off Pettitte in the second to end the suspense early in a 10-3 Chicago victory.

I knew something looked out of order. Thanks.

This simulation is pure crap, but I find it hilarious. They have Konerko hitting like 8 homers in the series.

This has got to be the most idiotic piece of garbage I've seen yet. Surprised all the Red Sox and Yankees fans are going to these lengths to entertain themselves...

Paying anything to roll the dice, just one more time.

So, they have Buehrle losing 8-0 in game 6 with a chance to win the Series at home. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

It's a video game.

But...But, nobody else on the Sox hits homeruns!

If you look at the final batting stats it says 10 HR's for Konerko but 9 RBI's. :o:

Try the same thing with ESPN's MLB 2K5 and they had the Cubs beating Seattle in the World Series.

Talk about a pipe dream!!:roflmao: :roflmao:
Have you ever heard the joke Pete Rose used to tell??
"Jesus told the Cubs 'Don't do anything till I get back'.
They're still waiting.":D: :D:

There was no Yankees/Red Sox bias in the game either. That's the shocking part. The Mariners thumped the Red Sox 3-0 in the ALDS.
(What's stupid is Baltimore beating the White Sox 3-1 in the other half. What is this, 1983? I find it hard to believe Baltimore could beat Kansas City let alone our Sox.)

There needs to be a color for stupidity....and maybe a filter that automatically puts any quotes from BP into said color.

According to Buck and McCarver, a lot of simulated controversy ocurred in those games.

The controversy is that there was none. Makes for a slow news day the next morning.

Wow, only Konerko and Rowand > .250 for that series. No wonder it's going to be dead wrong.

Just ask the Cubs, they're about to sweep the Mariners in their Simulated Series. Plus they've got Prior slated for simulated game 6, and Wood for simulated game 7. They can't lose
