Who expects the same sort of Nail-Biter tommorow? I certainly do. BTW, anybody have cardiac pills to give me? :redneck:redneck

Hell yeah I expect a nailbiter.
Petitte's got 14 lifetime postseason W's.
Let's not get all giddy just yet.
'59 team also had a 1-0 game lead with homefield advantage and we all know what happened.

It is my humble opinion that with a win in game one uder their belt, the Sox will be able to relax, play their game and win this thing in five ors six game...

We need to win tomorrow. I think we will be lucky to win 1 out of 3 in Houston.

I'd rather be lucky than good.
The Sox are the best road team in baseball. They win wherever they play.

I still think the Sox will come out tomorrow and mean business. They know they'd much rather go into Houston up 2-0 than tied at 1.
And maybe I shouldn't be quoting a banned poster!

I am not among those calling for a sweep, but I'm not afraid of Andy Petite facing our lineup. If our RISP hitting can improve even slightly, that's several runs on the board right there.

It was an awesome win, but the Sox looked a little rusty for the rest, as they had in Game #1 with the LAA...except this time we won! :bandance:
That said, I think we get in more runners in scoring position tonight. I predict that MB will have a solid, not stellar, performance (somewhat better than Contreras).
Sox win 6-4.

Especially when we are playing only 2 games there.

Actually I'm not scared by Petite, the guy in their rotation who scares me is Oswalt.

Same here. But I am no way counting out Pettitte in this one. He's been here before. I just hope we can hit him around a bit.
