Don't know if this has been posted anywhere else, but I saw in one of the papers yesterday that Frank Thomas will be at Niketown today from, I believe 10:00 am to 1:00 pm armed with 4 sets of tickets to tonight's game. I think they are judging fans based on clothing and knowledge of the Go Go Sox fight song. I would be more specific if I could fid the darned article again. Anyone esle care to back me upon this?

The 100 word essay was the kids contest, if I remember correctly.

You are correct. Above is the link to the Tribune article where I read it. It's near the bottom under the header "local attractions" :

"Looking for free World Series tickets? Niketown Chicago, at Michigan and Erie, will be giving away four pairs of tickets between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Saturday. Thomas will be on site to judge fans on the following: best fan, kid's essay and skill's cage."

May the best fan win!
