It feels like Christmas, you know your getting something you really wanted, and you can't wait until the time comes that you get it. I have had 4 hours of sleep in the last 38 hours. Wish the minutes would move faster!

It's 2:11 a.m. and I'm still up. I'm going to watch "Fever Pitch" before I go to bed as the suggestion of the girl I'm taking to Game 1.

I may be crazy, but I had a dream that I was hanging out with Buerhle at the Cell. I went to go talk to Contreras, to give him a pep talk and all, but I woke up.

I'm up all night most likely. I was laying down in bed just flipping through channels and I get to cltv and there is just all kinds of sox coverage. So naturally I'm just to excited and just pop out of bed, so ya...I'm done for tonight.

Insominia and heartburn big time here. I so want the Sox to get off to a good start tomorrow, uh, today. If they don't win the first game, I hope the series goes the way the ALCS went.

I just went out and tied two Sox flags to my balcony railing even though it's against my condo policy. I'm waiting to hear the complaints from my neighbors. No matter, I'm not taking them down until after the series.

LET'S GO GO GO WHITE SOX!!!

I'm getting high-strung myself.

For the past many days of "waiting," I wasn't nervous at all. I felt pretty confident about the Sox' prospects. This morning, I got to thinking about Clemens and his post-season success and Hall-of-Famer status, etc. and starting worrying.

But not too much! I believe! :supernana:

I watched ESPN almost all night and am already biting my nails. I feel so lonely out here surrounded by people that don't care that the Sox are in the WS. My adult son will be at the Cell though. He promised to hit "speedial" on his cellular whenever the Sox do anything big so that I can hear the crowd in real time. I know I won't be able to contrate on anything else all day.

Note: Spouse and younger kids think I'm nuts. My 19 year old son understands :)

I don't know what you people are so anxious about. It's just the World Series. :redneck

FWIW, I had a dream that Iguchi and Konerko both homered in the first inning. Iguchi then homered again in the 2nd inning as the Sox led 4-0. That's as far as my dream went so I don't know how the game finished, though I like the beginning.

I can sleep just fine, but the dreams about Game 1 are driving me crazy. Last night I dreamt the score was tied at 2 in the 7th inning. Now if that happens today I will be freaked out!

I won't be able to sleep tonight, or the rest of this week - the games don't start until 1am UK time! :o:

This week I will be jet-lagged without travelling, but I suspect that it will be worth it. :D:

I had a rough go of it last night. Had a bad dream about Garcia giving up 2 leadoff hits. Luckily, it was a US Cell. Field - which cannot happen, since they are gonna win in 5.

It was just a dream

It was 7 pm last night. I planned on taking a 2-hour or so nap and then talk to my boyfriend. That "nap" ended up being a 16-hour slumber! I'm SO refreshed and am ready for Puffers tonight!

:gulp: to you, fox2, for yea, you are the first person I've found who's worse off than me! (I know, schadenfreude has never been attractive, has it?)

How are you watching the games then?
Does German TV cover it, or are you on a Military base, are you watching on MLB TV, or do you have some über-tech Satellite dish system?

Have you booked the week off work?
