From today's article, in which he basically says that a Sox title would be the 2d biggest thing to the 85 Bears, or possibly behind the Bulls last title. Curiously, he feels a need to bring up a farcical Cub title.

If there is a possible Secretariat in this competition, it would be the Cubs winning the World Series.
Given the history of the team, the frenzy it would create and the Cubs' national following, a championship at Wrigley Field would be the biggest sports story ever in this town. Chicago would be hyperventilating for months.

Obviously, the editorial staff at the Cubune is too busy finding good Sox angles for the WS, and they missed the glaring typo, corrected below:
