Actually, the Cubby Bear North on Milwaukee Ave. in Lincolnshire. Its nothing like the joint across from Wrigley. Nothing. In fact, the manager there is a huge Sox fan. Its worth a try. There's also the Ram in Wheeling a few miles south of the Cubby Bear. In downtown Deerfield you can try Trax.

I watched Game 2 vs. Boston at Nevin's. There weren't many people wearing Sox stuff, but most everyone there cheered when the Sox did well. Frankly, I wasn't sure what kind of crowd it would be, so I was pleasantly surprised that it was pro-Sox. I'm sure it will be more so for the World Series.

I'm from Glenview and Buffalo Wild Wings is always fun. Good if you're underage. It's right off of Lake (Euclid) by Randhurst Mall.

The Bringer Inn in Morton Grove is where we usually hang out. The owner is a huge Sox fan. We were there for the ALCS games and a lot of Sox fans showed up.

You're probably thinking of Pequod's next door. The Bringer does have really good food though. The kitchen is open Monday through Friday.

There's more than you might think! We've met quite a few Sox fans hanging out at the Bringer. Even people I know are Cub fans were cheering for the Sox during the ALCS. We'll be there for the games during the week (both Saturdays are already booked with parties). Anyone in the area looking for somewhere to watch the games - stop by. The more the merrier!

Many more than a smattering up here, even in the snootiest of North Shore suburbs. Who says people don't drink Chardonnay, eat brie and wear silver and black. Cubby Bear North: was there April 15, 100 TV's tuned to Cubby game, one to Sox, where Jon Garland is throwing absolute filth (can't remember opponent). That was when I knew he had turned the corner.
