They have three questions, and if you get it right you will be entered to win a Sox jersey. Just something to kill you're time. Here are the questions.

-Who is the only pitcher to throw two one-hitters while wearing a White Sox uniform?

-Which pitcher picked up the win in the longest game (innings) in White Sox history?

-How many members of the White Sox' ALCS 25-man roster have ever appeared in an All-Star Game?

Actually there have been more then one Sox pitcher to throw two one hitters.

From the 2005 Sox media guide:

'Doc' White - 1903, 1904, 1908
Frank Smith - 1905, 1910
'Big' Ed Walsh - 1906, 1909, 1910, 1911
Jim Scott - 1914, 1915
'Red' Faber - 1914, 1915, 1929
Eddie Cicotte - 1916, 1917
Billy Pierce - 1950, 1953,1958, 1959
Virgil 'Fire' Trucks - 1954
Dick Donovan - 1957
Gary Peters 1963, 1967

All pitched them wearing a White Sox uniform :?:

The answer given on Whitesox.com was Gary Peters, maybe they meant the most recent, but they said the only pitcher to do it, which is an inaccurate question, as noted above (I put in Billy Pierce, but maybe they meant exactly two? I dont know)

Who are the 8 to have appeared in an all star game? I know Buehrle, Garland, Konerko, Garcia, Pierzynski, and Dye. Duque? Everett? Did Scotty actually appear? I remember he was on deck but can't remember if they put him in to play the outfield.

Scotty did appear in the All star game as a defender. I have a picture of him with Ichiro and Garret Anderson.

Whoever is running that site is out of his mind. Peters did it in 63 and 67 but he did have two one hitters in a single season. Was the question, the last pitcher to do it? or the last Sox pitcher to have two one hitters in his Sox career?

They just changed it, it now reads:

1. Name one pitcher who threw at least two one-hitters while wearing a White Sox uniform?
Answers: Gary Peters, Billy Pierce, Frank Smith, Doc White

Hotel:

Still wrong. See my list earlier in this thread. Every name on that list threw at least two...some threw two in the same season.

My God, that's as bad as today's 'pop' quiz on Chicago Tribune Live! They misspelled Bob Lemon's name (had it LEMMON) and said Tony LaRussa was the first Sox Manager of the year. Wrong...it was Chuck Tanner in 1972 by The Sporting News. The same organization that named Ozzie earlier on Tuesday.

I already let Comcast Sports Chicago know about it.
