Read carefully:

Obviously, going with two relievers in the franchise's biggest best-of-seven series over the past five decades is a preposterous attempt at humor.

KEEP. READING. you had me really freaked out for a minute.

Obviously, going with two relievers in the franchise's biggest best-of-seven series over the past five decades is a preposterous attempt at humor. But even with Hermanson's ongoing lower back issues, the White Sox might be able to adjust the roster and go with one fewer pitcher and one extra position player for the World Series, someone such as left-handed pinch-hitter/first baseman Ross Gload.

When is the WS roster due. Sounds like a good idea to have a capable left handed bat available (Gload?) for ph dutied, and leave one pitcher off the team.

That's the biggest teal violation I have ever seen.

That requires something much stronger than the teal police.

It always helps when you read past the first paragraph of an article.

HERE'S A GOOD SIGN:

By the numbers: The White Sox were 16-49 against American League West teams on the road since 2001. Their three-game sweep of the Angels was just their second road series win out West since 2001 (Aug 26-28 in Seattle this season), and the first sweep at Angel Stadium since April 7-9, 1992. Ozzie Guillen's crew also became the 11th team to win three successive games of any postseason series on the road. The Diamondbacks took care of Atlanta at Turner Field to close out the NLCS in 2001 for the last time this was accomplished.

I think the roster is probably due Saturday morning as the ALCS roster was due last Tuesday morning. I thought you said it would be a good idea to have a capable bat? I don't call Gload a capable bat?

If they do drop a pitcher for a potential pinch hit role, who do you recommend that is not on the playoff roster already?
