Does anyone know how to save the pictures on Whitesox.com or mlb.com in the photo galleries? The pictures that are shown in the slideshow, using the flash media viewer. I know these are copy written pics, but I just want to save them for my personal computer.

Thanks

For those interested, I have a password thru my journalism class for an AP site with very clear, nice photos. If you go to, www.yourap.com username is: ildns password is: ildns3. Go to search, the photos area, then type in Chicago White Sox.

Here's a trick to get hi-res shots off of Sportsline:

Get the URL of any one of their photos, such as this one:

http://images.sportsline.com/u/ap/photos/ANS105101621_lower.jpg

If you right-click on it and select "Properties", you can copy the URL of the image:

http://images.sportsline.com/u/ap/photos/ANS105101621_lower.jpg

replace the word "lower" with "1024x768":

http://images.sportsline.com/u/ap/photos/ANS105101621_1024x768.jpg

...Paste THAT into IE and you get this:

http://images.sportsline.com/u/ap/photos/ANS105101621_1024x768.jpg

...all the wallpaper you can imagine. Currently, I have 191 different images, many of which I've collected this way.

To make life even more fun, you can get a little freeware app called WimpWall (http://members.iinet.net.au/%7Eminchin/jme/wimpwall/) that you can use to randomly shuffle through your collection. I have mine set up as a Scheduled Task that runs every weekday at 6am so I have a different wallpaper every time I come into work.

I've looked around and can't find a pic of Escobar's phantom tag on Pierzynski (the man at the centre of seemingly every epic Sox play this year). Can anyone post it or a link to it?

Thanks. Were there more from this source? I'm looking for one that clearly shows the ball in Escobar's hand.
