If I was not laid off right now I think I wouldve flown to Aneheim, I get a good deal on air fare. I did however, blow my extra money going to detroit for the clincher which I am not complaining after getting to sit next to Kw and reinsdorf. How much do we love them right now?!:)

I think a lot of WSIers are going to Puffers. I might do the same after the Bears game.

but I think I'm going to watch the game at home, and if they win, I am going to to head to work to design the front page of our sports section. I know it sounds corny, but I want to be part of this historic win anyway I can. We are doing special section fronts and I've switched my shifts around just to design them. In 2003 I worked in South Florida and had fun (and great clips) when the Fighting Fish won the Series.

:) Hey everyone....how amazing...1 game away...

I will be working at Oillies tomorrow which is located on Diversey just west of Sheridan(433 Diversey). It is a super cool place to watch sports. There is 5 big screen tvs and a tv in every booth. I am super bummed that I have to work and can't sit and watch the game with all of my friends and a bunch of Sox fans. Please feel free to come and watch the game there. The food is also great. It would be great to watch the game with some fellow Sox fans. I am working on getting alot of my friends to come there too. It would awesome if the place was packed with Sox fans. Tonight there was maybe 20 Sox fans in the whole place. If they win I need some people to celebrate.  :gulp:

I have my den set up just for watching baseball.
I may have to put up some kind of protective screen however,as some of my friends have taken to throwing peanuts at the tv whenever joe bucks' face comes on.
Also,no more drinking games involving the word "umpires' as hangovers are a killer at my age.

Is there anything wrong with watching the game at home anymore so you can actually see what's going on? :D:

That's what I'm going to do. I like being able to pace back and forth, yell and scream in the privacy of my own home.

I'll be enjoying the game at home with friends, alternating between watching in HD on the big screen in the living room, watching in the family room while playing pool, and watching out on the patio. I'm going to try not to scream as much though; my voice was hoarse this morning. :D:

Anybody know of a good place with a lot of Sox fans in the Schaumburg or Rosemont area? IF not, I might end up at Puffers. I want to go somewhere where there are a LOT of Sox fans. Last night I went to Buffalo Wild Wings in Algonquin and the place went nuts after every out.
