Angels silent, yet still talk of town
Controversial call is the topic across the country, but the team is mum while preparing for pivotal ALCS Game 3.

Katie Couric devoted about five minutes to it during the "Today" show.

SportsCenter's hosts couldn't stop replaying the videotape.

That rallymonkey.com site is awful. 189 members....28 of which have more than 10 posts.

at least we're classier than they are... all their posts are about how their team sucks... even though they're in the ALCS...

I'm shocked about the lack of love from RALLY MONKEY DOT COM.

What I did find interesting, though, was this post (the emphasis is mine):

Why do Joe Buck and the other dude on FOX Sports talk about the Angels as if they were some second-rate team? They always talk highly about the Yankees and the White Sox but make comments like the following about the Angels..."The Angels somehow found a way to get past the Yankees". Has anyone else noticed this?

We're further east. So naturally, we are now everyone's favorite. Unless we face the Astros, because Pettite and Clemens were Yankees a few years back.

Hey guys...i didn't get the memo.......Did they move Chicago to the East Coast over the weekend? Before the LCS started?

If everything east of the Mighty Miss is East Coast, and everything west is west coast.....Then I can not WAIT to go to that beautiful West Coast city known as Davenport, Iowa. Or is this the Closest to Bristol ruling that the Angels feel is in play?
