Everyone is calling the AJ's stealing of 1st base "THE PLAY". Well here at WSI i think that we need a better name for it. So lets have you guys throw out your ideas. I havent got one yet, but i will. Have fun.

I think the "Strike 3, E 2" or just "E2" is the best I have heard. Still, I personally refer to it as the "Josh Paul is a tool" play.

I'm in the "I don't care if it has a name" camp, also, but the only label that out to be attached to it is:

E2.

Nothing more, nothing less...That's how dropped third strikes are scored, unless the 3rd strike was a blatant wild pitch, in which case it's scored E1.

I can care less as well, but I for sure don't like the "E2" one. The nightclub rings a bell, and I sure as heck don't want the Sox to be blamed for that as well.:D:
