Rome has been a big fan of AJ since he was on the Twins.

Just heard it. AJ was as cool as ever. He took a swing at the Tribune and talked about how the guys always do stuff together, like go to lunch or dinner, play golf. He talked about how winning the Series would be huge for the team and for the fans. Nice interview, as always.

I just got a call from some guy named Tomko in San Fran with a lot of free time on his hands right now who disputes that assertion.

I saw an interview with A.J. during the season and he was talking about how if one of the players sees another of the players reading a Chicago newspaper in the clubhouse, they immediately ask him, "How are the Cubs doin'?"

:D:

Thanks for reminding me, Dump; I forgot this part. When he mentioned that the guys on the Sox did stuff together, he also said something about how in San Francisco after the game, it was "25 guys in 25 cabs," or words to that effect.
