Wouldn't it be funny if the Angels/Yankees game goes into extra innings tonight? If the Yankees win tonight and loose to the Sox tomorrow, watch for Grand Master George to have something to say to Uncle Bud and the T.V. schedulers on Wednesday morning! This is gonna be fun the next couple days!

I think a 20 inning game would be welcome. That way Ken Rosenthal can have more to write about

Rosenthal wrote a decent article. He says the Sox have the advantage and he is right. Doesn't say its fair or unfair, just says that's what it is.

Olney, on the other hand, doesn't think its fair and believes the ALCS should be pushed back. He is wrong.

Just heard on Mike and the Mad Dog (660 WFAN NY), and they said that Jaret Wright is in Chicago now.

I heard that if the game tonight goes between 12 and 16 innings, game 1 of the ALCS will be moved to Wednesday, and if it goes 17 or more innings, they will move game 1 to next Monday. Can anyone confirm this?

Wrong. If it goes 10+ innings, the winner of tonight's game automatically wins game 1 of the ALCS. Every 10 innings thereafter gives them an extra win against the White Sox.

Well, here's the key sentence:

"If either had swept the other team, they'd be landing in Chicago today, going through a leisurely workout before heading out for a relaxing dinner."

BUT. THEY. DIDN'T. SWEEP.

WE. DID.

Got it now?

Just a wishful thinking post.....nevermind.

Wait a minute!!!!! What if the Sox take the Angels in extra innings tonight, win and deplete the Angels bullpen altogether!!! Wouldn't that be fun! That could really happen! Ah.....how fun this is!
