Think about it.

The Indians!
The Red Sox!
The Angels / Yanks ?????????????????????????????

What could be more outragous and welcomed than that!
That would almost be tooooo much.

(Let's go to Vegas?)

Back to back to back sweeps would be dam teriffic!

It would be a challenge...but I think White Sox pitching to help carry it off.
Maybe if we re restart the pitching with Contreras.

But Oh yes...It would be extremely sweet.

Heres hoping that it comes to pass.

No way in HELL are we sweeping the LA Angels of Analheim.

Beating the Skanks in 5 I could see, given our success in the Bronx.

Angels would take 6 or 7.

I don't think I could physically take a seven game series.....so for my sake, lets hope for the Yanks.

I can't keep myself from singing...

"SWEEP CAROLINE!"

---------

Boston swept.
Berman wept.

Yeah really, I have a hard enough time getting on with the rest of my life when the sox swept a simple 3 game ALCS, I'd probably go insane in a seven game series.

For one thing, it's never happened. No team has swept the Division Series AND the Championship Series. In fact, since 1995 and the inception of the three round system, only one team has swept the Championship Series at all, and that was the 1995 Atlanta Braves, who swept the Cincinnati Reds. They won the NLDS 3-1 over Colorado and the World Series 4-2 over Cleveland. The only team to sweep the entire post-season in the playoff era (post 1969) was the 1976 Reds, who swept the Phillies 3-0 in the NLCS and the Yankees 4-0 in the World Series.

I say Yanks in 4, they wouldn't get ahead to bring in Rivera.
Angels in a tough, nailbiting 7.
