Haven't posted in forever due to superstition

Jumped up, hit the ceiling, hugged my roommates and called my pops who raised me a sox fan immediately

I celebrated by myself here in Colorado and immeditely called everyone back home in Chicago to celebrate with them. I hope my weekend hours have kicked in because I'm going to have one heck of a cell phone bill....but its well worth it!!!! :bandance:

My dad called before Konerko squeezed Iguchi's throw. We celebrated together it was sweet. He was born in 1940, so he's seen a lot. I hope he gets the big prize. I hope I do too.

No tears here. I'll probably cry if we win the World Series, though.

You know, Not go get into too much family life, but this is why I cried after the win.

My dad mvoed out 3 years ago, very ugly divorce with my mom, really hurt my family. I had an extra for game 2, so I took him for his birthday which is coming up, and we had a great time, felt like I was 10 again. I live with my mom and grandpa and bro n sis now. My Grandpa is life long cubs fan. In a matter of 4 minutes after the victory, my grandpa hugged me real tight, told me he couldnt be happier for me and my team, and my dad called and thanked me for taking him to the game and told me he loved me for the first time in 3 years ( Well, atleast meant it, not a you know I love you guys thing) and I cried like I was a little kid. What a season

And people say sports dont bring families and communities together

The tears almost flowed for me in my seats after game 2. Today it was just lots of yelling and joy.

They will flow for sure if this team wins it all.

Not yet, not yet - there's still work to be done. Ok, maybe a little choked up after I got off the horn with my pop, but no tears.

Not yet. Gave a lot of high fives where my coworkers and myself watched the game. Our nurse and admin people did because now they got to put up with us SOX fans longer.:supernana:
