I'm glad to see Cy Mays leave the rotation and Lohse will be gone most likely which really puts us in a better position. LeCroy is a bum unless he faces Buehrle.

I always liked Lecroy for some reason. Not a bad guy to have on the bench, especially as a third catcher.

Lohse and Mays leaving opens spots for Baker and Liriano. I'd hardly say that puts us in a better position.

I like LeCroy as well. He can't field a lick, but he has decent power. He has some pretty bad split stats (can't hit righties), but he CRUSHES lefties. But I think I really like him because he shares my birthday.

I'm glad Mays is gone. He had one monster year and Terry Ryan made a mistake signing him to a long term deal. Good guy, just overpaid and ineffective. He'll be a nice "Loaiza" type signing for some team.

But neither of these items bug me. This item bugs me:

Twins: Al Newman leaves for Diamondbacks (http://www.startribune.com/stories/509/5656067.html)

Somehow the third base coach has "philosophical" differences with the manager. And of course, Gardenhire comes out just fine...

Gardenhire's a logical positivist and Newman's an existentialist, it was bound to happen sooner or later...
