Let's organize this so we know who is going to be where, and what everyone's name is.

Just to reiterate for all the young posters, no Wabash tap if you're under 21, but you will be fine at Monk's.

I'll be at Monk's, my name is Ryan, and I'll be wearing my Illini cap, probably with my White Sox poncho on depending on the weather. If not, I'll be sporting my black 311 shirt.

I decided to not include the poll, since it isn't necessary. Just be sure to state where you are going to be.

Hopefully I'll be able to cheer on the Sox with some of you fella's!

I work in the west loop...so Dylans/Dugans would be better for me...but Monks works as well. I'm coming from the office and a conference so I'll be business casual.

For all those wondering. Monk's is at 203 W. Lake.

I'll be at Blarney Stone 151st and Cicero in Oak Forest. Can't beat $4.50 pitchers of Miller Lite. I'll be in my solid Green Sox Jersey, probably with a few friends. Im trying to get my Cub fan brother to go so that we can harass him all night long, but I doubt he'll go. :D:

Since Monk's seems to be slowly building into the consensus pick, I guess I'll be there, since I want to be around Sox fans when we clinch Friday. (no deeppink needed). Grey Sox t-shirt, black cap, slightly delirious expression :D:

I'll be there ... shaved head... haven't met most of your, but look forward to it.

I'm going to stay in the neighborhood. So it's either Mackell's (on 111th St) or Rhino Bar ( on Western).

Looks like it's gotta be Monk's. That place was infamous as being sort of weird with my former co-workers, so it could be fun. Hopefully there are enough TVs for all to see.

That area on Lake Street is slightly seedy. I guess it just adds to the ambiance of the place.

hey. I'm new here and me and some friends wanted to find a cool place to go for the games. We usually just go to Buffalo Wild Wings on W. Lake Ave (Euclid) since we're all under 18 or 19, but since it's filled with northern suburb cub fans... where's monk's at? It'd be cool to meet up with some of you guys there. Gimme directions from... anywhere? We live in Glenview, so any directions from the northern suburbs would be awesome. thanks guys.

I know the ESPN radio crew will be out at Cork and Kerry and will have .99 cent Miller bottles. I also heard that 670 the Score will be at Bourbon Street but not positive on that one.

Monk's is 205 W. Lake St., and Lake is 200 North. Best way from Glenview would be to take the Edens inbound and exit at Washington Blvd. heading East (to the left). Take Washington to Wacker (about 4-5 blocks), go left on Wacker for 2 blocks, and then take a right on Lake St. You'll have to almost definitely park your car in a garage around there as street parking is impossible in the Loop.

Lake Street is the east-west street that has the El tracks running right above it, so if you're lost, look for the elevated train tracks.

He can also take the Metra in as traffic on Friday is brutal both ways, Parking will set you back over $20 bucks and you can have a couple frosties or cocktails and not worry about it.

I may come downtown since I have to go to Comiskey anyway. Monks has pretty good bar food (burgers, chili, etc.).

The Metra station is a few blocks southwest of Monks. Walk North up Canal Street a few blocks. You will get to Lake street which is the street with the el tracks above it (200 North). Go right on the South Side of the Street a couple of blocks and Monks will be just before Wells - another street (this one North South) with el tracks on it.

The Washington exit is closed for construction. Exit Randolph, turn right to Halsted (first light). Turn right. Next block is Lake (El tracks overhead). Turn right, cross the river to Wells Street and Monks.

For Game 3 I'm gonna be home on my couch with my cat, drinking ice water and plugged into WSI chat in case something fun happens. No bar for me.

Yesterday my liver sent me a memo titled "Enough is enough". Time to take a lil' break until Series 2 [if and when it happens].

Go Sox!

Guys.

If you are going to be driving down to go to Monk's, you may want to park West of the river because it is a lot cheaper. There are lots all over after you get off the express way... as soon as you cross the river it'll cost you $20+ to park.

Just a thought... look forward to meeting you all today!

GO WHITE SOX.

There are two lots on Canal just north of Lake Street. I walk by them everyday...there is plenty of room. The walk to Monk's from there is easy.

Fine. It's settled. Monk's it is.

Baby Fisk will be appearing sometime around 3:00pm. Look for the shadowy guy in black, wearing a red 1972 Sox cap. He will look lost, so go say hi to him when you spot him.

I'll be at Monk's at 2:30pm-2:45pm wearing a black near-hockey-type Sox jersey with a road Sox cap (gray brim) and glasses.

Whoever gets there first needs to see if their juke-box has AC/DC's "Thunderstruck" on it.

Should I bring my CD with "Go Go White Sox" on it?

I took the liberty and reserved a section for WSI-ers at 2:30. I requested to be seated in front of the Bar section (within view of the TVs). The reservation is under the name Gus and is for approximately 20 people. There may be more of us there, but I don't have a count, so I did not want to be too greedy in requesting seats. The place was pretty well packed during the clinch game with the Tigers, so come early. If someone has already reserved tables, please let me know so I can release my reservation.

Looking forward to seeing you all there!
