View Full Version : For once, a reason to read today's Daily Quickie (espn.com)

I stopped reading espn's page 2 a long time ago (right when the smartass who writes it decided to summarize our spring training as "Zzzzz"), and as we've all seen the past of couple of days, there's even less reason to check up on it.

So, imagine my surprise when I saw a genuinely cool picture up on today's column. Don't worry about reading the actual column, since all the focus is on Boston yet again, but I had to like the accompanying drawing:

The Curse of Mark Bellhorn? Ugh.

Anything but admit the White Sox are just the better team.

That Dan Shanoff is a typical ESPN tool, the most obvious proof of which is his repeated use of the term "ESPN Era" in his writings.
That and his pre-ALDS analysis, in which he said something to the effect of, "...nobody is picking the White Sox to beat the Red Sox, nor should they."
I hope we finish off the Red Sox tomorrow and then the Yankees next week just to shut these people up...
