Funny.... the link to current MLB standings on ESPN now go to the 2004 season?

Maybe they know something... Yanks and BoSox will be out in the first round in 2005, so they're just going to... you know... forget this season ever happened?

Yep, it's true. Just to make sure it wasn't some kind of glitch, I didn't follow the link, but went in the long way, with the same result.

So, let me see if I got this. After the White Sox win the World Series, ESPN and Fox are going to air a commercial showing David Ortiz stepping out of the shower and saying, "Wow, what a strange dream I just had!"

Or what the hell, let's really rewrite history and have Derek Jeter be the one stepping out of the shower. That way, the Yanks can win the 2005 and 2004 championships.

And this ending has the added benefit of driving women all over America crazy because we all think Jeter is the sexiest man who ever lived.

We all need a little more Gin Blossoms in our lives.

Now they go to 2005, but they say we went 7-3 over the last 10.
