Red Sox. His time there was magical, you never forget that.

They never cut him in the middle of a road trip either.

It's not his choice.

I'm sure he's rooting for the Red Sox though.

They changed it because Wade Boggs was going to get paid by Tampa Bay to go into the HOF as a Devil Ray. Besides, Pudge is a born and bred New Englander, so I can't blame him for going in as a Red Sawk.

the real question is: who does Steve Lyons root for?

Anybody know who Ellis Burks is rooting for this week?

I think he's cheering us all the way. #1, Boston just won one and #2, I thought I heard him say in a recent interview that this year's White Sox are his team and he's behind them all the way....that is not a verbatim quote but that's the gist of it.

I don't think he cares much. He left with ill feelings towards both organizations. He mended some fences with each, more with the Bo Sox. but in the end who cares! I think he feels the same. either way it's better then the Yanks to him.

What are you referring to? Is his HOF plaque no longer of him wearing a Red Sox hat/uni?

I too recall hearing him say that the 2005 White Sox are his team on Comcast SportsNet. I'm pretty sure it was an interview on the day when the Sox unveiled his statue at the Cell. Not that it really matters

That would be my guess too. Ever se Fever Pitch when Fallon sees Damon, Milar and another eating after a heartbreaking loss. This is what they do for a living. They are not like us and dwell on a loss. (some may, but you know what I mean. Same with Pudge. He probably doesn't care and just wants to see a good game. Remember a few years ago when Larson was going to leave the David Cone game. Someone told him that he was throwing a perfect game and couldn't leave. My guess is he was happy for hiim but really could care less. Of course I could be wrong...

No. MLB changed the fact that players no longer have a choice of what hat to wear. MLB does it for them.
