The Indians' loss last night was their 35th of the season by 1 run...

Oh, that's right, we're the team that couldn't handle the pressure when things got rough. And Eric Wedge should be manager of the year even though they lost 35 1-run games and we've won around the same amount...

And the brilliant Jeff Brantley said last Sunday morning the Sox were going to go 3-5 down the stretch and not even make the playoffs while the Indians won the division and the Red Sox made the playoffs. Last I checked we're 4-2 in that stretch and the "Terrific Tribe" is 1-4

Baseball Analysts are not unlike Lemmings. One of them hits upon a popular thought and they all just follow. Certainly the last few weeks Cleveland overtaking the sox was the popular thought.

You also assume that guys like Brantley actually do research and know what their record is in 1 run games. These guys basically didn't make enough in their playing career to retire on so they have to bore us to death with their opinions.
