Mr. White Sox

From Fred Mitchell's column:
The White Sox entered Wednesday night's game against the Tigers with 94 victories. If the Sox win 96 games, it will mark the third-most victories in a season in franchise history. The Sox won 99 in 1983 and 98 in 1964.
Didn't the White Sox win over 100 games one time in the early years...I'm thinking 1917?
