Gotta love switching from game to game. Damn, I can't stop thinking about how good of shape the Sox would have been if they had won tonight.

Oh well, Lets go O's!

I just picked it up for the rest of the season for free (thank you Sports Ill). It is nice.

Omigod, the Yankees have Tanyon Sturtze on the mound!

And now a gopher ball. 3 run dinger by Mora. In the words of Andy
:andy "Go you White Sox!"

I'll never understand how the Dark Clouds can seriously point towards all the faults in the SOX and never admit to such enormous holes in other team's rosters -- like the Yankees putting Tanyon Sturtze into an important game!

Unreal... How do all four playoff contenders lose in one night to teams out of the race?

Meanwhile the Angels are winning...

As much as tonight's game infuriated me, you are right. Every team has holes, even the mighty Indians. :?:

:o:

I think it's because the dark clouds, although pessimistic all the time, really do care about their team and want the holes filled and could give a rats ass about teams such as the Yankmees. That's what I've learned from observing them, but perhaps I have misjudged the dark clouds. :redneck

The Yanks and Red Cubs have HUGE pitching holes. Especially in relief. I think besides Gordon and Rivera, the Yanks have dog ****.
The Red Sox are in an even worse position with absolutely no closer whatsoever.
The Toons have a suspect starting staff.

Not to mention Al Leiter was brought in to replace Mussina in the second.

Nah, that's way too complicated. It's as simple as the Dark Clouds having absolutely no sense of proportion or scale.

Basically they just don't have a ****ing clue what they're talking about. Some of them even admit that they feel the White Sox are *****ting* on them.

We're talking deranged here.

What a rollar coaster of emotions tonight... I can't take this anymore!

Playoff magic # is 2

Maybe the pressure will be lessoned after this and the boys can relax... i.e. not leave 12 guys on base.

Any combo of Sox wins and Indians, Red Sox or Yankees loses?

Once again, you are right, PHG. The last few weeks I have been fighting these dark clouds back with only a 2x4 and a trashcan lid as a shield.
I know you will be in your glory a couple of nights from now when the Sox clinch and you finally vanquish the dark clouds. I can't wait.

Posada has to be tired and shaking his head. He caught the equivalent of 2 games last night.
