Is this optimism from Hangar? Not only that they will make the playoffs, but be #1 seeds?

I will be catching away White Sox playoff games from the comfort of a couple local establishments. I've got the time off work and am putting in some extra study hours this week in preparation. Go Sox!

I have tickets for Angels games 1 and 2. I have my flight booked to San Diego. I'll be staying with a friend there and then driving to Anaheim. If the Sox don't play the Angels then I'll sell my tickets and get a nice vaction with my friend in California. I look at it as a win-win situation.

I'm in LA, so I got tickets to the second Angels home playoff game. A perfect scenario.

I'm there for at least one of the games. Still haven't got my ticket, but that'll come shortly.

I also live in LA, but I did not buy tickets for the first series. Though I may start asking around if they play the Sox in the first series.

I also live in LA, and IF they make it to the playoffs, and IF they play The Angels, I will be on Stub-Hub within 7 seconds of clinching.

The Sox need to first make the playoffs before we can go and watch them. Cart before the horse at this point.

I'm not worried. I'm so not worried that I did put my money where my mouth is yesterday.

I have not been a dark cloud all year and do not intend on being one now...but I got to tell ya, PH13, this game tonight left a real, real bad taste in my mouth! So, in the spirit of your post, say "Hey" to the Sox in LA for me! I sure do hope you are right and I am just pissed about 12 men left stranded...

think of it this way...

if the sox play angels first round you get to see it live!
if the red sox or new york play the angels first round, you will make a ton of money, as those will be VERY hot tickets. even the regular season games go for twice the cost of ticket.

if cleveland plays the angels first round, well, we've got bigger problems. :D:

What is everyone doing with their tickets?

If you're selling those, where are you doing it? Are you going to sell at face or make some money on the deal?

My tickets are on ebay right now. I paid over face for game 1, so I am just hoping to get my money back.

Well, since the Sox playing the Angels now means we're in the ALCS, you better believe I'm going to try!

I would very much like to see the Angels advance to the ALCS, so then I can see our Sox!

The Angels tickets I bought for the ALDS are TicketFast. Hope I don't have trouble selling them.

About 4 months ago, all of my extended family planned a weekend get together in So Cal for the weekend of Oct 15-16. For about the last month or so, I've been hoping that the Sox and Angels would meet in the ALCS, as there would be games in Anaheim that same weekend. If the Sox and Angels win their respective series, I'll be there.
