Silver lining to the last month?

With this race becoming close, does this help the team prepare for a potential playoff series? These last two games with Cleveland definitely feel like Boston-NY from last year, and maybe we needed that kind of pressure and experience....games that matter! I figure that's why wild card teams have done well, they already have the petal to the metal going into the playoffs.

Now, I'm not sure the pitching staff likes it and they better respond better over the next week...and hopefully month.

I think its fantastic for the bats and the pressure situations they'll be in. Probably very good for Jenks to continue to get these key stopper chances. But starting pitching? I don't know. I just want to see one good start from all of them before the end of the season.
